best ebook reader Kindle portable

Kindle Web access question?

I am an avid reader and I love books, but my habit extends in Fanfiction. I know that with the new Kindle 2 U is supposed to be able to access text-based websites (Google, Wikipedia), but everyone knows that if you can access fanfiction.net? It would be so much easier to just carry around an infected compared with piles of books and my laptop (which I'm not allowed to work-sad). I would order tomorrow if that was the case! Thank you!

I own the Kindle 2. I just checked the website my Kindle and everything works fine. I think it no problem for this kind of simple website. As you should know Here is the excerpt from the Kindle sales page: Kindle's Basic Web browser works well for simple, text-centric sites such as Google and read Wikipedia. Hope it helps.
